From Engine Damage to Like-New Condition
We completely dismantle the Ford 1.0l EcoBoost engine in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, thoroughly clean all components and inspect every part for wear and damage. We consistently replace worn or defective components with high-quality new parts.We can optionally replace the vacuum pump.
Crankshaft Assembly & Engine Block
The crankshaft assembly is then measured and the bearing shells are replaced. Depending on the type of damage, the cylinder liners are also honed or bored to the required oversize.
The replacement engine is also fitted with new pistons.
Cylinder Head & Timing Belt
These engines frequently suffer from thermal overload. This causes the mating surface of the engine block and the cylinder head itself to become distorted.
In some cases, the cylinder head is also prone to cracking, resulting in complete failure of the cylinder head. We therefore always install a new cylinder head on these engines.
Finally, the Ford 1.0l EcoBoost is fitted with a new timing belt.
Note About the Old Engine:
Your Ford 1.0l EcoBoost engine must be suitable for remanufacturing. This means that the cylinder head and engine block must not have irreparable damage such as cracks or fractures. Furthermore, the valves must not have broken off.
Your engine must also not have been assembled from defective parts. If your engine is not suitable for remanufacturing, we will charge an additional fee for the extra work involved.

Additional costs are incurred for oil, oil filters and small parts, as well as for any additional work required, such as damaged threads, engine mounts, additional work on axle components or the replacement of defective ancillary components.
For many vehicles, we also have to drain the air-conditioning refrigerant in order to carry out the engine replacement. We completely refill the system afterwards. Additional costs may therefore arise for the missing quantity of refrigerant.
For liability reasons, we do not install customer-supplied automotive spare parts in our automotive workshop.

We also supply our remanufactured 1.0l EcoBoost replacement engines with the engine to automotive workshops. We will be pleased to prepare an individual quotation for you.
