Does your vehicle with a 1.8- or 2.0-litre TSI engine of the 3rd generation suffer from high oil consumption, oil pressure problems, timing chain damage or a noticeable loss of power?

At Wagner Motoren, you receive a professionally remanufactured 1.8- or 2.0-litre TSI replacement engine with the engine code CHH, CJE, CJS, CJX, CNC or DLB. The engine is completely overhauled at our own premises. Upon request, we can also professionally install it in our master automotive workshop.

From Engine Damage to Like-New Condition

We completely dismantle the 1.8- or 2.0-litre TSI engine, clean it thoroughly and inspect all components for wear and damage.

We consistently replace worn or damaged components with high-quality new parts. The complete timing chain drive is renewed as part of the engine overhaul.

Crankshaft Assembly & Engine Block

The crankshaft assembly is precisely measured and the bearing shells are replaced. Depending on the specific damage, the cylinder liners are professionally honed or bored to the required oversize.

The 1.8- or 2.0-litre TSI replacement engine is then fitted with new pistons selected to match the reconditioned engine block.

Cylinder Head, Valve Train & Fuel Injectors

We carefully inspect the cylinder head for distortion and professionally resurface it if necessary. We also inspect the valve guides and the entire valve train.

Depending on their condition, the valves and valve seats are reconditioned or replaced with new parts and then professionally ground in. New valve stem seals are also included in the engine overhaul.

We also strongly recommend having the fuel injectors inspected. The injectors can be tested and ultrasonically cleaned to restore a spray pattern that meets the technical requirements.

However, the long-term reliability of the mechanical components inside the fuel injectors cannot be guaranteed. Mechanical faults may later make further maintenance or replacement necessary.

Requirement: Engine Must Be Suitable for Remanufacturing

The cylinder head and engine block must not have irreparable damage such as cracks or fractures. The valves must not have broken off, and the engine must not have been assembled from damaged individual parts.

If the supplied engine is not suitable for remanufacturing, the resulting additional work will be charged separately.

Possible Additional Costs

Further damage often only becomes visible after the engine has been removed and dismantled. The costs of oil, oil filters, small parts or additional work therefore cannot always be quoted as a fixed amount in advance.

This may include damaged threads, defective engine mounts, work on axle components or the replacement of damaged ancillary parts. If refrigerant has to be drained, additional costs may also arise for the quantity required when refilling the system.

We also supply our remanufactured 1.8- and 2.0-litre TSI replacement engines with the engine codes CHH, CJE, CJS, CJX, CNC and DLB to automotive workshops. We will be pleased to prepare an individual quotation for you.

For liability reasons, we do not install customer-supplied spare parts in our master automotive workshop.
