VW T5 engine damage: Your Transporter or Multivan T5, T6 suffers from high oil consumption or has engine damage?

With us, you get a refurbished 2.0 CR BITDI CFC engine as well as the installation in our master car workshop at an all-inclusive price. We overhaul the replacement engines exclusively in-house. Alternatively, we currently also offer an OE new VW engine. If you are interested, please contact us.

We carry out the following work on the engine

In principle, we completely disassemble the engines, clean them and check all components for wear. We then replace all worn or damaged components without exception. The crank mechanism is then measured and the bearing shells renewed. In addition, the liners are honed or drilled to oversize, depending on the damage pattern. The replacement engine receives new piston rings or new pistons, depending on the level of overhaul. The cylinder head is exchanged for a new part. The oil pump is always renewed. Furthermore, the engine receives a new EGR and the injectors are checked and ultrasonically cleaned.

Otherwise, the engine is WITHOUT add-on parts and without a turbocharger. We can also offer you the BiTurbo as a new part at favorable conditions.

Additional work

Our experience has shown that additional work must often be carried out after a VW T5 engine damage or is definitely recommended. We would therefore be happy to provide you with a complete offer on request.

Due to the high oil consumption in your vehicle, the particle filter should also be cleaned or replaced. We can offer you this in addition to favorable conditions.

Furthermore, we can also offer you the toothed belt set including water pump.

Additionally, VW pretends to have a software update carried out for replacement engines with a new EGR. We therefore recommend this for our engines with the new EGR as well. It has been shown that the engines do not run as hard after the update.

The CFC engine in the VW T5

The problem with oil consumption is well known to us. After about 100,000 km, the particle filter becomes clogged due to this oil consumption and the turbocharger is damaged, which further increases the oil consumption. This engine is completely overloaded with the vehicle in and of itself.

For the T5 we offer the exchange engine together with the particle filter cleaning (or new particle filter) and new turbocharger. We also offer the new EGR cooler. This was diagnosed in various specialist forums for the engine problems. On the 1st series, the radiator appears to be dissolving, causing parts to enter the engine. The current version has the part number 03L 115 512 D (changed several times by VW).

Note on the old engine

Your engine must be able to be overhauled: That means the cylinder head and engine block must not show any irreparable damage such as cracks or fractures. Furthermore, the valves must not be torn off. Your engine must also not be made up of defective parts. If your engine cannot be overhauled, we charge a surcharge for the additional effort.
