Reconditioned 2.0 TDI
Is your vehicle with the 2.0 TDI CAA or CCH engine suffering from high oil consumption or a timing belt failure? We can help: We offer a reconditioned engine including installation in our master car workshop.
We exclusively overhaul the replacement engines in-house.
The following work is carried out on the engine: In principle, we completely disassemble the 2.0 TDI engines, clean them, and check all components for wear. We then replace all worn or damaged parts without exception. Subsequently, the crank mechanism is measured and the bearing shells are renewed. Additionally, the cylinder liners are honed or bored to oversize depending on the damage pattern. The replacement engine also receives new pistons.

Additional Costs
Additional costs arise during the installation of the engine for oil, oil filter, and small parts as well as any additional work (e.g., damaged threads, engine mounts, additional work on axle parts, replacement of defective attachments, etc.). For many vehicles, we also need to drain the air conditioning gas to carry out the engine replacement. We will then fully refill it. Additional costs may arise for the missing amount of gas.
For liability reasons, we do not install customer-supplied car parts in our workshop.

Note on the old engine:
Your 2.0 TDI engine must be refurbishable: This means the engine block must not have irreparable damage such as cracks or breaks. Furthermore, the valves must not be torn off. Your engine must also not be composed of defective parts. If your engine is not refurbishable, we will charge an additional fee for the extra effort. Please read our note on the refurbishability of engines.
