If your vehicle with the 1.8 TFSI or 2.0 TFSI engine (3rd generation) is suffering from high oil consumption, oil pressure issues, or has a timing chain damage or loss of performance, we can help you: At our workshop, you will receive a fully overhauled engine, including installation by our car master workshop.
You will receive a completely overhauled engine from us, including installation in our master car workshop.
We carry out the following work on the engine:
Basically, we completely disassemble the 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI engines, clean them, and check all components for wear. All worn or damaged parts are then replaced without exception. Next, the crankshaft is measured and the bearing shells are renewed. Additionally, the cylinder liners are honed or bored oversize depending on the damage. The replacement engine also receives new pistons.
Furthermore, we check the cylinder head for warping and plane it if necessary. We also check the valve guides. The valves and valve seats are machined accordingly or replaced with new ones and additionally honed. We also install new valve stem seals. The timing belt is renewed.
*Engine codes: CHH, CJE, CJS, CJX, CNC, DLB
Please note our experiences with the 1.8- or 2.0-TFS engine:
Injection Nozzle Inspection for vehicles with 1.8- or 2.0-TFSI engines, we strongly recommend considering an additional inspection of the injection nozzles. Please note that we are only able to inspect the injectors and subject them to ultrasonic cleaning to ensure that the spray pattern is optimal again. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the mechanics will remain defect-free in the long term.
Additional Cost
In addition, when installing the engine, there are costs for oil, oil filter and small parts as well as any additional work (e.g. damaged threads, engine bearings, additional work on axle parts, replacement of defective add-on parts, etc.). In many vehicles, we also have to drain the climate gas in order to be able to carry out the engine replacement. We then fill it up completely again. This can continue to result in costs for the shortage of gas.
For reasons of liability, we do not install any spare parts you have brought with you in our workshop.
We offer you the collection of your vehicle throughout Germany at favorable conditions.
Note on the old engine:
Your 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI engine must be able to be overhauled: This means that the cylinder head and engine block must not show any irreparable damage such as cracks or breaks. Furthermore, the valves must not be torn off. Your engine must also not consist of any defective parts. If your engine cannot be overhauled, we will charge you for the additional work. Please note our information on overhaulability.
We also offer the 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI engine for sale to garages. If you are interested, please contact us.
