The following work is carried out on the engine
In principle, we completely disassemble the 1.2 TSI CJZ CYV engines, clean them, and check all components for wear. We then replace all worn or damaged parts without exception. Next, the crank mechanism is measured and the bearing shells are renewed. Additionally, the cylinder liners are honed or bored to oversize depending on the damage pattern. The replacement engine also receives new pistons.
Furthermore, we check the cylinder head for warping and plane it if necessary. We also check the valve guides. We rework or replace the valves and valve seats accordingly and grind them in additionally. We also install new valve stem seals. Finally, the engine receives a new timing belt.

Injector Testing
For vehicles with the 1.2 TSI CJZ CYV engines, we recommend considering an additional check of the injectors. This check is important to ensure that the injectors are functioning properly and that the vehicle is delivering the best possible performance.
We have a specialized testing device with which we thoroughly test the injectors initially. We then subject the injectors to a thorough ultrasonic cleaning, which ensures that the spray pattern is optimal again and the fuel distribution in the engine is improved. After cleaning, the injectors are tested again with the testing device to ensure they are functioning properly.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the mechanics of the injectors will remain free of defects in the long term. It is possible that mechanical problems may occur, requiring further maintenance or replacement of the injectors. Therefore, we recommend adhering to regular maintenance intervals and consulting a specialist early if there are signs of problems.
Additional Costs
Additional costs arise for oil, oil filters, and small parts as well as any extra work (e.g., damaged threads, engine mounts, additional work on axle parts, replacement of defective attachments, etc.) when installing the engine. For many vehicles, we also need to drain the refrigerant to carry out the engine replacement. We then completely refill this. Additional costs may arise for the missing amount of refrigerant.
For liability reasons, we do not install any brought-in car spare parts in our car workshop.

Note on the old engine:
Your 1.2 TSI CJZ CYV engine must be overhaulable: This means that the cylinder head and engine block must not have irreparable damage such as cracks or breaks. Furthermore, the valves must not be torn off. Your engine must also not be composed of defective parts. If your engine is not overhaulable, we will charge an additional fee for the extra work.
